The best Cuban food I have had in Florida in a long time. We were a party of 6 cubans and all agreed on the great quality of the food, amazing service and atmosphere. We spent almost 3 hours at the Restaurant not because the service was slow but because we were having such a great time enjoying the live music and the drinks that we didn’t rush to order our meal. Overall the best Cuban Restaurant on the Gulf coast.

My husband and I wanted to have some good Cuban food and heard Fernandez was the place to go. We were very glad we went. The food was authentic Cuban, cooked to order, and truly excellent. We enjoyed it so much we went several days later prior to leaving the area. We had appetizers both visits and our meals were served in a timely manner. Our waitress both times was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and specials.

They have really good food and their pina colada is amazing!!!! But please and please, cancel the drink named ‘Adios castro’. My friend got it and this stuff tastes like a bad cough syrup gone even worse. Update: My friend’s drink got changed at no cost! Amazing right? And I had the baby churrasco steak with moros (rice and beans) and sweet plantains. My 10 month old loved it too. It was a good experience and I would definitely visit again, given the chance.

My husband and I came to Fernandez the Bull very soon after it first opened 1 year ago, and has quickly become our favorite! I can't decide if I love the food or the people that run it better, and they are both fantastic. Each time we come, we are greeted with a warmth like relatives coming home for dinner, with all the comfort, flavors, and care of deliciously and proudly prepared foods. With so many visits, it's hard to choose a favorite dish, but I can tell you that we have worked our way around the menu extensively and keep coming back for more. The dish that is my absolute guilty pleasure is the Yuca Rellena which I have to get every time! It had a nice crust and is soft and fluffy on the inside and is not greasy AT ALL!. I had the surf and turf and the steak was so well prepared and cooked, which can be tricky on thinner cuts. This was beautifully charred on the outside and soft and rare on the inside and bursting with flavors! The shrimp were a good size, fresh, and properly cooked that still maintained it's snap. And I basically ordered bread just to shamelessly eat spoon fulls of the chimichuri! My husband had the Shrimp and Scallops and said he wanted to pick up the dish and drink the broth! Haha We love to eat at the beautiful bar that has comfortable seats, good space, and plenty of attention. The drinks are well made with quality ingredients and great ice! There are also sizable booth seating and table in the dining area, which are also well spaced so you never feel cramped in. There are often talented musicians playing at the correct volume for enjoyment that you can talk over and still hear each other which is so often a problem in many places. There's a great professional attention to the details of creating and running an elevated classic yet still comfortable restaurant that makes it great for a date night and your "go to" for a dressy casual great meal!

After hearing about this place for a long time I finally sat down for lunch at the bar. First impression: super friendly staff! I went with their classic Cuban sandwich with black beans. The sandwich was super fresh and delicious, the beans were prepared perfectly and full of flavor. As good as the meal was it was their hot sauce that stands out! So good, I bought a bottle to go. I am looking forward to returning for dinner soon. A

If you’re looking for some delicious Cuban cuisine in Bonita this is the place to go! was craving whole fried snapper, decided to give this place a try and got more than I was expecting. It was amazing! We had the sweetest waitress with the best recommendations. Great cuban inspired drinks, with a nice variety. They even have house-made hot sauce that they use in their spicy margarita which was SO GOOD we had to buy a bottle to go!

I had visited the North Naples location a few years back and was eager to check out the new spot closer to where we were staying. We sat at the bar during happy hour (4-6 PM daily) and received outstanding service from bartender Yerendy. The mojitos were spot-on, and the croquetas were perfectly crispy on the outside yet delightfully soft on the inside. They also had a special for tostones rellenos that completely satisfied my craving for ropa vieja and tostones in one delicious dish. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully designed, and the atmosphere was elevated by a live musician who came in. We only caught a few of his songs before we had to leave, but he was an incredibly talented guitarist and vocalist. I just wish we had caught his name to mention in this review. This place is definitely going to be one of our go-to spots for happy hour from now on, and I highly encourage others to give it a try!
